Mathematics:

The Poker Striker design and development team put lot of efforts in writing mathematical algorithms by considering each and every possibility into account. Poker Striker does not calculate the winning chances by considering sample of random cards (NOT from Mont Clara algorithm). Every time, Poker Striker shows the same winning chances for the same card combinations.

After drawing a hand:

After drawing a hand (2 cards) from the deck, Poker Striker considers each and every flop which is total of 50C3, for each and every turn, and each and every river which is total of 50C5 = 2,118,760 possible cards (Flop, Turn and River) and then for each and every 5 card combination on the table Poker Striker counts each and every possible hand that an opponent can get, which is 45C2 = 990. The poker striker computes and compares with total of 50C5 * 45C2 = 2,097,572,400 ~= 2.1 billion hands against your hand and then computes the winning chances.

After drawing the FLOP:

After drawing a flop, Poker Striker considers each and every Turn and River combinations and each and every hand that an opponent can get, that is total of 47C2 * 45C2 = 1,081 * 990 = 1,070,190, around 1 million hands if number of opponents is one. As you increase the number of opponents, the mathematical algorithm considers billions of combinations to calculate the winning chances.

After drawing the TURN:

After drawing the Turn, Poker Striker considers each and every River card and each and every hand that an opponent can get and compares against your hand. That is total of 46 * 45C2 = 45,540. As you increase the number of opponents it will compute huge number of card combinations and shows the winning chances.

After drawing the RIVER:

After drawing a River, Poker Striker considers each and every possible hand that an opponent can get and compares against your hand. That is total of 45C2 = 990. You can see the winner hands in the winner hand map grid by clicking the button “Show WinMap“. As you increase the number of opponents it will compute huge number of card combinations and shows the winning chances.

Limitations:

Poker striker considers tie breaks as winning hands. When the tie breaks happens, both the winners’ gets portion of the pot.

Another limitation is that poker striker mathematical algorithms counts total number of possible opponent hands from the map of total hands but not from the map of total cards. For example, if you distribute the cards for 5 players from the deck of 45 cards, it would be 45C10 = 3,190,187,286 different ways, but poker striker considers first it makes individual hands like 45C2=990 and then it distributes 5 opponents from this map of 990 cards, so it becomes 990C5. This gives perfect results for one opponent and gives approximate results for multiple opponents.
